Plain Pulao Recipe

Every occasion is empty without pulao or fried rice. It is specially made with ghee or butter. Some fried onion basal leaves. My mother always said pulao is one kind of recipe that shows respect for our guests. On many occasions, we can prepare it as a main course. we can take it with chicken beef mutton or different type’s curries occasions


  • Small rice 1/2 kilo.
  • Ghee 3 teaspoons.
  • Cardamom 4 pieces.
  • Basel leaps 2p.
  • Fried onion 1/2 cup.
  • Hot water 1 liter.
  • Garlic paste one teaspoon.
  • Ginger paste one spoon.
  • Specific amount of Salt
  • Chopped onion 1/2 cup.
  • Green chili 4 p.

How to cook:

Always try to old rice take fresh rice for any pulao recipe because old rice gets broken when it cooks. First, wash the rice in a bowl drip the water, and keep it 10-15minutes. Now put ghee into a pan warm it. Be careful ghee should not be burn. We can also use well-branded butter, especially salted butter. It will make pulao rich. Then we can use chopped onion fry it 2 minutes. Make sure to use red onion, not the white one. Now add cardamom, Basel leap, and mix the rice. Then keep this in low heat for 5 minutes, now fry the rice; it makes the pulao perfect moisture. Then add hot water and cover the pan. This water should be filtered, or you can also use mineral water. Cook it in high heat for 10 minutes after that uncover the pan and put green chili and Salt now mix this with spoon or patcher very softly. Now cover the pan again cook pulao in low heat another 5 minutes. Turn off your stove, and spread fried onion. When you fried onion that time, mix one spoon sugar with it. Finally, it is ready to serve. Try to garnish tomatoes or carrots flower or some mint.
